Sounds quite daunting and scary! 

Plasma Pen is a new state of the art Aesthetic procedure and has been taking over the industry by storm.

It is very scientific and there are some complicated reactions that take place within the device and how it reacts with the body. This is where it gets a bit confusing so let’s keep it simple… the device generates electricity. When the device gets close enough to the skin it releases this electricity in the form of a tiny bolt of lightning and causes a small burn to the surface of the skin and penetrates a bit deeper.  

How does this help with my skin…I hear you ask!

It helps in 2 ways

Firstly, we are using your body’s natural reaction to help with areas of volume loss. Your body’s natural reaction to being burnt (by any source…fires, water…Plasma Pens) is to send a rush of fluid to the area of the burn to protect the body, within this fluid is brand new shiny collagen…you can see where I’m going now cant you! By using the Plasma Pen we are taking advantage of this natural process and essentially controlling the burns and encouraging this reaction to happen.

Secondly, the placement of the dots is critical, and the points are there to tighten any loose skin, think of the 5 dots on a dice, this is the pattern we follow as it gives the correct amount of dots to make the skin tighten perfectly.

Although there is a lot of swelling with this procedure particularly on the face, this is a good thing, in fact, the more swelling the more likely you are to have a better result. Once the swelling has gone down this isn’t where the treatment ends, because the body is so clever it keeps rebuilding and sending collagen to this area for a total of 12 WEEKS!
